Hi,I am Dr. Radhakrishna (Gastroenterologist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
On Monday I had a pelvic ultrasounds to check the thickness of my uterine lining because I am in menopasue. The doctor says it is necessary to do that. I had no complaints, pain or discomfort before the test. During the test I felt mild cramping almost like labor pains. When the test was done I felt fine and left. Later in the day up until today, Thursday,I feel discomfort in my abdomen, not pain but mild discomfort like something is wrong. When I press down hard on my abdomen, it hurts but doesn't hurt when I walk or go to the bathroom or anything like that. I feel like a pressure and just discomfort I know something is wrong. What could it be?
HI. Psychology plays the greatest part in life including in such incidences... If the ultrasonography is absolutely normal, and you has no complaints in the past as you say, stop worrying. The worries will cause more problems. This is called psychosomatic disorder and quite frequent in many people.
