What Causes Abnormal Abdominal Distention With Pain?

I have had abnormal abdominal distention for 3 months with pain, cramping, nausea, and vomiting. I have had an abdominal ultrasound, CT of the abdomen, an endoscopy, a gastric emptying study, and a pelvic ultrasound. Everything came back normal, including blood tests. I look like I m 7 months pregnant, yet I havent gained weight. Its also not a gas issue either........the GI said there is nothing else he can do. I am seeing a GYN this week, and an allergist in a few weeks. Does anyone have any suggestions on what I can do? Im in pain and miserable!

Hi.
Thanks for your query.
Noted the history and understood the concerns.
Abdominal distension with, pain, cramping, nausea and vomiting with all the said tests being normal as mentioned by you means you are suffering from IBS that is irritable bowel syndrome.
The most important cause may be stress and anxiety. Control it for good and you may be fine.
Additional of looking pregnant may be Pseudocyesis which gives symptoms like pregnancy but not being actually pregnant.
Gynecologist will help for this.
Get a stool test and Colonoscopy done and get treated with an antibiotic, anti-inflammatory, metronidazole and probiotics and you may get relived.
Change the diet eliminating the foods and beverages that cause you the symptoms.
Use activated charcoal tablets, bans yogurt, curds.
