What Causes Abnormal Menstrual Bleeding And Delayed Menstruation?

Hello,I saw my period on the 4th of March n I had sex between 16 n 19 where we used withdrawal method of contraception but on the 20th the method failed n I took postinor 2 within 12hours,on the 23rd I witnessed bleeding but d blood didn t really look like the menstrual blood and d bleeding stopped on the 26th of March.since then I ve not seen my period..I taken 4pregnancy tests at different times but they are all negative.this is May and I ve still not seen my period.please what could be the problem?

Hi,

Postinor-2, if taken within 12 hours of intercourse, is effective up to 95% in preventing pregnancy. Moreover, you have already done repeated pregnancy tests, turned to be negative. Therefore, the chances of your becoming pregnant are almost nil.

Menstrual disturbances like spotting, in some cases heavy bleeding and delayed menstruation is also seen in many cases. Your case seems to be of such unwanted side effects, which is very much normal and do not look like to be worried for.
