What Causes Acid Reflux Along With Itching In The Throat?

I am having a tickling in my throat and sometimes it feels like there is a lump in my throat when swallowing. I feel like I have to cough a lot. A couple year ago I was diagnosed with acid reflux but chose not to take medication due to side effects. I am now researching how to manage it through diet and digestive aids. I am also experiencing a runny and itchy nose with the almost constant itching in my throat. I am wondering if there are two separate issues going on. Allergies? I also know that acid reflux can become GERD which can cause barrettes syndrome which can cause cancer. How likely is this to happen with acid reflux?

Hello,

The acid reflux takes a longer time to become barrettes. You should start by reducing the episodes by reducing the consumption of tea coffee acidic drinks. Take tablet omez before meals. Take syrup gelusil and try to drink a glass of cold milk before sleeping.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
