What Causes Acid Reflux And Burning Sensation In The Chest?

I have woken with a acid like burn in my chest, my doctor gave me omeprazole about 3 months ago and was taking them regular but i stopped taking them about 3or 4 weeks ago since then i have been put on flucloxacillin for a infection and have also been taking betahistine tablets, should i start takeing the omeprazole again?

thanks for posting query to hcm.increse acid secretion or reflux of acid in oesophagus leads to burning in chest . omeprazole decreases acid secretion and relieve symptoms . so you can start omeprazole again for symptomatic relief .
