Hi Dear,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of acid reflux and heaviness in the chest which seems to be due to excessive production of acid due to release of esophageal sphincters, which is also known as GERD . It this case lifestyle changes are very important along with medicine . I would suggest you to

- Eat light and non spicy food.
- Take small and frequent meals
- Take light walk after every meal and take antacid after every meal.
- Avoid intake of outside food.
- Do exercise daily.

Consult gastroenterologist for proper checkup. Doctor may prescribe H 2 blocker or proton pump inhibitor along with sucralfate. You should avoid sharp, spicy and acidic food substances.

Hope your concern has been resolved.

Best Wishes,
