What Causes Acid Reflux At Night?

I woke from my sleep an hour after going to bed, even with my CPAP I felt bile (vomit) in my throat and nose. I got up and have been sitting in my recliner waiting for the reflux to go away. I have no pain or other discomfort. I took some juice to get rid of the taste, but that s all it did. I still feel the back up in my nose and throat. This has never happened before. What could this be?

Hello,I just read your query and from what you described it appears that you have GERD that is gastroesophageal reflux disease and I would suggest that you
1- stop eating 3 hours before bedtime anything .
2-Try to put a lot of pillows and recline and sleep.
3-try to lose weight if you have any excess weight
4-Stop any kind of drinks 3 hours before bedtime
5- During the day avoid caffeinated drinks
6-Lastly you can take Cap .Omeprazole 20 mg twice a day for a week or so if it's not contraindicated for you.

Hope that helps resolve your query,Good Luck.
