What Causes Acid Reflux Despite Taking Rinifol?

hello My name is Arun I am 26 year old from India. I had been facing acid problem for 5 months now which is ok but now there is some problem in my throat I visited to doctor that said it is because acid came back from throat they prescribed me Rinifol but problem still in it....can you suggest something

Hi Dear,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of acid reflux despite taking Rinifol which seems to be due to release of esophageal sphincters . It is due to excessive production of bile. Well acid reflux problem needs to change life style of person along with medicine for proper treatment. Need not to worry. I would suggest you to consult gastroenterologist for proper examination. Doctor may order endoscopy of esophagus and X-ray of upper digestive system to confirm the diagnosis . Doctor may prescribe H2 blocker , proton pump inhibitor and loperamide for loose motions. For now your should avoid heavy and spicy meal specially at night , Eat at least one hour before going to bed , take a light walk after every meal , eat small and frequent meals and take antacid like gelusil for acidity.
