I am 38 years old female. I have been having acne around my chin area close to my ovulation time. I have been trying to conceive but in vain. I had prolactin on the upper margin. Are these related to some gynic problem? Recently I had my ovaries and pelvic region examined and turned out to be normal. But for the past two months my menstural cycle is messy.
Understanding your concern. As per your query you have acne around chin area which is due to infection of skin sebaceous glands. It is mainly due to hormonal changes. I would suggest you to apply cream containing azelac acid. You should use product containing clindamycin and benzoyl peroxide. You should wash your face daily with cold water and face wash containing salycylic acid twice a day. Exfoliate your face once a week , apply aloe vera gel. Drink 8-9 glasses of water daily and add fresh fruits and vegetables to your diet. If condition doesn't start getting better in a month then consult dermatologist. Doctor may prescribe laser therapy and chemical peeling.
Hope your concern has been resolved.
