What Causes Acne Breakouts On The Nose?

For the past year or so I have had break outs on ONLY my nose. They look like acne but it never goes away and only appears on my nose. One doctor told me it could be rosacea but I have use strong anti-bionics orally and a tropical cream on the area since December of 2016 and now it is March of 2017 and it looks completely the same if not worst. I would say it was acne but why would it only appear on my nose and never go away. Their are times the puss pockets that appear go away but it stays bright red and within the week the acne comes back.

Acne rosacea is difficult to cure when a flare up occurs. If you were my patient I would put you on Doxycyclin and Retinoic acid Ointment. The treatment has to be prolonged sometimes to be repeated.
All the best.
