What Causes Allergy?

I got 3/3 epidural on 3/22. Since then I have been getting facial swelling to the point that I look like I have a shellfish allergy. I work as a nurse during the day and an entertainer at night, which is probably the reason I have herniated discs to begin with, however, I am on my feet about 18 hours a day. Now my back doesn t hurt but my face feels like it is gonna explode. As the swelling has increased, I have increased my water intake and also added Zyrtec am and Singulair pm, just incase. Nothing is working. I not even convinced that this is epidural related, as it was a lumbar injection. I m out of $ and have no medical insurance

hello,thanks for your query, no back pain, no itching over face doesn't suggests allergy. just painful swelling could be a cause with obstruction in neck vessels andthyroid abnormalities or some systemic causes like hypertension or neuralgia.. kindly evaluate. hope i have answered your query, all the best, take care.
