What Causes An Enlarging Lump On The Elbow With Tingling Sensation In Shoulder?

I have a small lump that is steadily getting larger and had over the last month, the lump isn t painful to touch but when I rest my arm on my desk or hard surface its s exceptionally painful. The lump is not on the elbow but roughly an inch away from it on the outer side. Over the last couple of days I ve started getting tingling sensations in my shoulder and hand, not constant but on and off.

Any build up beneath the skin can be a tell tale sign that there is something wrong. Whether it is derived within the depth of the skin down into the muscle, or just an ingrowth of a hair at just below the surface of the skin; these are important differences in severity, and proper diagnoses of the problem. Considering the actual location of the lump you have growing near the tip of your elbow, you may be experiencing a malignant tumor growth due to the symptoms you are currently experiencing, you should seek medical advisory from your primary care physician. Be sure to ask your physician to refer you to a dermatologist who can help assess your physician's opinions and they can work together to help you out.

Since you are experiencing tingling in the hand and up the arm, please be cautious of heart attack symptoms as well as bacterial, fungal and or viral infection. If your shoulder pain continues into the next day, I would go visit the ER just to be sure, incase you can't be seen by your primary care physician for an extended amount of time.
