Hello,
As per your clinical history is concerned, please follow like this -
1) Do a clinical exam by your doctor [gastroenterologist] and tell your doctor to do one
colonoscopy.
2) Do take your
blood pressure medication as usual as it has no relation with
rectal bleeding.
3) Discuss with your doctor about permanent treatment plan as per clinical findings only.
Do follow lifestyle modifications like this-
1) Try to eat high-fiber foods. Eat more fruits, vegetables, and whole grains. Doing so softens the stool and increases its bulk, which will help you avoid the straining that can cause hemorrhoids or worsen symptoms from existing hemorrhoids.
2) Drink plenty of fluids. Drink more than eight glasses of water and other liquids (not alcohol) each day to help keep stools soft.
3) Do take a
stool softener if you have
constipation history and you can take at bedtime.
4) Don't strain. Straining and holding your breath when trying to pass a stool creates greater pressure in the veins in the lower
rectum.
5) Go to the toilet as soon as you feel the urge.
6) Do exercise regularly. Stay active to help prevent constipation and to reduce pressure on veins, which can occur with long periods of standing or sitting. Exercise can also help you lose excess weight.
7) Try to avoid long periods of sitting. Sitting too long, particularly on the toilet, can increase the pressure on the veins in the anus.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
