What Causes Anxiety Along With Depression And IBS?

hello Dr. I have been experiencing some bad anxiety lately, (this past month or so) and spurts of random depression. Also been dealing with unusual bowel movements such as diarrhea. also been having very clammy feet and hands. I also feel hungry but when I eat I feel like i have to force myself to swallow the food. do you have any idea what I am experiencing ?

Hello,

It is all due to anxiety you have other symptoms like irregular bowel movements and diarrhoeas.

You need to relax, engage with friends, family and keep social interaction, don't let yourself alone.

If you have any cause of anxiety discuss it with your family it will help to relieve.

Get an appointment with a psychologist to address it properly. As your anxiety relieves your GIT will return to normal and diarrhoea will stop.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
