Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have had a pretty large loss of appetite in the last 2 weeks and can eat a small bowl of granola in the morning and not feel hungry until somewhere on 6-9 pm. I am 19 and normally eat at least 4 full meals and some snacks throughout the day. I do not have any other symptoms other than fatigue, probably due to a lack of food, and don t know if I should be concerned.
Well in your case I will suggest taking a blood analysis for first. If this is okay then I suggest I period of relaxing because sometimes this loss of appetite is due to a stressful period. And then the next step is to try to have a healthy diet and you need to "force" yourself to eat fruits, soup, vegetables, and water. About the fatigue, I will say that as long as you don't eat it is normal to feel fatigue, sleepy etcetera.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards, Dr. Elona Dashi
