What Causes Arm Numbness While On Adderall And Vyvanse?

Hello, my right arm has been incredibly weak lately (i.e. can t open a door, grasp anything) and is numb and tingly. My body is also incredibly achy and sore. I ve been taking about one adderall (20mg) and one vyvanse (40mg) per day. I m pretty confident that s causing this all, but even as I ve tapered, my arm is still numb. How long does it usually take to regain normal function?

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have arm numbness while on Adderall and Vyvanse. Well there can be many reasons for symptoms you mention in query like neuropathy , diabetes , or injury , but in your case it seems to me that the symptoms are probably due to side effects of medicine you are taking specially adderall , as it is known to cause inability to move the arms, legs, or facial muscles . I would suggest you to consult doctor who prescribe you these medicine and discuss the condition with him/her . Doctor may alter the dose or prescribe substitute . Doctor may also refer you to orthopedic surgeon for muscle or nerve problem .
