The pain and a features of discomfort you are having at the of implanon implant may be indicative of a local infection that is brooding up there or it may be a wrongly implanted implant that is impinging on a nerve in that location. In either case you should get it examined by a local practitioner and preferably get it removed and reimplant at a new site. If it is found to be infected or some local pus discharges from the wound is noticeable then you will need a short course of broad spectrum antibiotics as well.
