What Causes Back Pain And Frequent Dizziness In A Patient With Osteoporosis?
My mother suffered a vertebral compression fracture of the T3 as she has osteoporosis and hurt herself falling on the ground on her back . She has now recovered but experiences back ache and very frequent giddiness. She has to rely of vertigo medications . What s the prevention and cure time and our these symptoms to worry about ?
I think she will have frequent back ache since he fractured a vertebrae. The dizziness may have been caused by trauma causing the particles in the middle ear to move on wrong direction. She should visit an ENT doctor and he may perform Epley maneuver to treat it.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Olgeta Xhufka, General & Family Physician
