What Causes Benign Cyst Like Growth On Thyroid Leading To Pain?
I have a benign cyst like growth on my thyroid (not filled with fluid). I have been having pains shooting from the cyst for the past two days and it is very tender to the touch. Do I just have gland infection or could it be something of which to be concerned?

As long as the pain is concern this can be managed with analgesic if this is not confirmed cyst and just your doubt then this need to be investigated, and for that first thing you need to do is get done the thyroid function test, and thyroid scan without this chances of cyst can not be ruled out, hope this information helps, take care.
