What Causes Biliary Colic?

I have what doctors think is biliary colic with nausea, dizziness, pain in my abdomen, pain down my right side, pain across my lower back and now my right arm is tingling? My ultrasound and blood work was clear so what is causing this? Everything but the arm tingle starts at about 6:30 pm every night and clears up by morning. I m hardly eating anything because I was told to eat small meals, and I m eating very little fat. I ve lost about 10 pounds in a week and I m starting to get scared. Please help!

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi and welcome to HCM. Thanks for the query.
It is caused by stone in gallbladder and this is very common condition which usually lead to biliary colics and rarely it cures spontaneously. In some cases stones may cause inflammation of gallbladder and then urgent surgery is required. So we recommend surgical procedure before it happens since this is the only permanent solution for biliary colics

I hope I have answered your question.
Wish you good health. Regards
