What Causes Black Stool After Taking Morphine For Severe Stomach Pain?
Hi my name is carol I was admitted to hospital last Friday dinner time with bad pain in my stomach they asked if my bowels and water works were ok I said yes I was put on a drip for fluids and also given morphine through my can ulnar in my arm but since I came home I have had black smelly motions when I have been to the toilet they seem to think I have possible chronic pancreatitis and now waiting for CT scan in outpatients when they send for me.

Regarding your experience with severe pain at your stomach will associated black stool after morphine usage I am suggesting that you have developed a peptic ulcer disease with melena stool(from black blood)
In view of this morphine usage will worsen the above condition (peptic ulcer disease) so please use the following Tablet omeprazole cimetidine gestid suspension
