hi thanks for posting your query on healthcaremagic. THE SYMPTOMS WHICH YOU HAVE MENTIONED IN YOUR CLINICAL HISTORY IS COLLECTIVELY REFERRED TO AS "POST COITAL BLEEDING".THERE ARE CAN VARIOUS CAUSES OF POSTCOITAL BLEED ,BUT THE MOST IMPORTANT IN ANY CASE IS A CANCER OF THE GENITAL TRACT ,THAT ONE HAS TO RULE OUT IN EVERY CASE.THE OTHER NON MALIGNANT CAUSES INCLUDE VAGINAL INFECTIONS,CERVICITIS,CERVICAL EROSION,POLYPS,CERVICAL TEARS,URETHRAL RUPTURES ETC.THE IMPORTANT MALIGNANT CAUSES INCLUDE CANCER OF OVARY,ENDOMETRIUM AND CERVIX.SINCE YOU HAVE BEEN A POST MENOPAUSAL WOMAN -NO PERIODS SINCE LAST 4 YEARS AND PAST HISTORY OF ENDOMETRIAL ABLATION,CANCER ENDOMETRIUM RUNS HIGH POSSIBILITY IN YOUR CASE.ALL YOU NEED TO DO NOW IS TO GET YOURSELF AN ENDOMETRIAL BIOPSY FOLLOWED BY TVS-TRANSVAGINAL ULTRASOUND OF THE PELVIS.TUMOUR MARKERS LIKE CA125 WILL BE HANDY.TREATMENT INCLUDES "WARTHEIM'S HYSTRECTOMY" IF CA ENDOMETRIUM IS DETECTED.IT HAS GOOD PROGNOSIS OVERALL.CONSULT YOUR EXPERT GYNAECOLOGIST FOR FURTHER QUERIES.
