What Causes Bleeding After Itching On The Penis Shaft?

about last week maybe a little longer one day I woke up with itching and irritation on the shaft of my penis and where the sack meets and today I went to the bathroom and wiped the skin a little where it was irritated and I started to bleed. I'm not sure what this is but I would appreciate any advice.
