I am a 52 year old female. My last menstrual cycle was in January, 2013. However, I have had some irregular bleeding for the past couple of months. I notice that when I have a bowel movement, I have started to have bleeding. It is not from my rectum or my urinary tract. What is going on?

What Causes Bleeding During A Bowel Movement?
Hi welcome to HCM... You have bleeding not from urinary tract or rectum according history given by you .... So this can be from vaginal bleeding .... For that postmenopausal bleeding per speculum and pelvic examination done. .... Endometrial biopsy also taken as chance of malignancy high with post menopausal bleeding .. Endometrial , cervix infection also can be the cause ..... If cervical polyp present than also bleed can occur... If mass or polyp present it should be excised and send for histopstho examination.... Consult gynecologist for this. ... Take care ....
