What Causes Bleeding From Ear After Having A Cold?
I've had a cold over the past week. I saw mt PCP earlier this week and he did not find anything noteworthy. However, I woke up early this morning with intesnse pain in my left ear. I took a sinus decongestant and used a netti pot. After about an hour I heard a few loud popping noises followed by to relief of the symptoms. However I now have a trickle of blood coming from my left ear. Is this most likely a ruptured ear drum that will heal on it's own?

hello, thanks for ur query, yes. ur right . u had ear infection with cold, now ear drum ruptured, discharging fluid from d middle ear through d perforation. u need to see an ent surgeon for a course of antibiotic tabs,drops and tabs for ur cold. mean time do not allow water per ear. all the best. take care.
