What Causes Bleeding While Intercourse?

I've recently started a new sexual relationship. During intercourse a little over week ago, my menstrual cycle started (one week early), and I went through my cycle as normal. During intercourse today I bled a little bit. What could have caused the bleeding today?

BLEEDING DURING INTERCOURSE IS DUE TO RUPTURE OF HYMEN. AS YOU R VIRGIN SO IT IS POSSIBLE TO BLEED DURING INITIAL INTERCOURSE BUT IF YOU GOT MUCH BLEEDING AND NOT SELF REMITTING CONSULT YOUR GYNECOLOGIST..
