What Causes Blister Like Bump Inside The Mouth?
I have noticed a blister looking bump inside my mouth cheek in the last few months. i checked my mouth today and found at the back of my tongue a v shape of flesh coloured raised bumps (which i have looked up and guess are the circumvallate papillae) but they are painless and not red or sore and very large. The blister like bumps on the dorsal surface of the tongue could be because of the inflammation of the papillae. You can consult a oral physician to rule out the inflammation of the papillae. Unless it is symptomatic no treatment is required. If it becomes symptomatic, then you can take a course of antibiotics and analgesics. Do saline gargling and maintain the oral hygiene.
