What Causes Bloating And Constipation During Menopause?
I have just received the results of a CT scan taken of my abdomen & pelvis. It showed a thickening on the endometrium (25mm). I am suffering terrible boating and intermittent constipation. I am 54 years old and going through menopause. What could this mean?
Hi, The thickness of your endometrium suggests estrogen effect. If you are on any supplements, that would account for this. If not, you would need further monitoring. Bloating and constipation are usually observed as side effects of hormone excess and are usually relieved through simple remedies like exercise and healthy diet. Please practice simple breathing exercises thrice a day along with meditation; take plenty of liquids and fresh fruits and vegetables. As your body adjusts to the change, you will find relief. Hope this helps.
