What Causes Blood After Sex During Pregnancy?

i have just woke up to my panties wet with either mucus and/or some blood. I went to the bathroom, and some spotting was apparent. My husband and I had sex yesterday evening. I am 7 to 8 weeks pregnant. Is this normal? Should I be alarmed? I do not currently have any major cramping or pain.

hi,this is definitely abnormal.this is a condition called threatened abortion where the risk for miscarriage is increased.you should take rest,no coitus and lifting weights.you should start tab susten 200 mg twice daily and inj hucog 5000 units i.m weekly which help to provide support to the fetus.all the best take care.
