i am a 39 yr old 6 2 275 male with a history of atrial fib. recently i had a pulmonary vein ablation. The other morning i woke up with blood on my pillow and when i went to spit it was a blood clot. this happenned 2 days in a row. what is the problem?
As you have Atrial Fibrillation then its very likely that you must be on some ANTICOAGULANTS like WARFARIN. Have you checked your INR lately if not then get your PT/INR levels checked. To high INR levels could possibly be the reason of your blood from mouth.
Another important advise is to consult personally a CARDIOLOGIST and a PULMONOLOGIST for detailed evaluation as the status of the ABLATED PULMONARY VEIN needs to be checked.
I wish you good health and luck
