What Causes Blood Clots In The Lungs While Suffering From COPD?
I ve had COPD since I was in my thirties. Now I m 70. I was recently hospitalized with severe pneumonia. I m home now learning to use 3 oxygen tanks (One permanently on and two portables. I also have a blood clot on one of lungs. I am wondering how long this will last (roughly). The oxygen is helping so very much. I m just concerned because of my age. email is YYYY@YYYY . is there any precipitating factor e.g. long term bad ridden,recent major surgery,certain medication,blood coagulating disorder etc. if yes,attempt should be made to remove the factor.
by the way,blood clot lasting depends on its size ,location,frequency and dose of (clot lytic) medicine.
