hi, i have blood in my earwax,i have been to the doctors several times and they said my ear canal is completely clear.i sometimes go deaf in this ear and can get lots of wax out everyday,i can sometimes feel it oozing.sometimes my ear wax is thin like water and sometimes its thick and crusty.i think i may be dairy intolerant...could this be a cause or could it be something else?i also get ear ache atleast once a month.
Aged wax may appear like dark brown. Sometimes trauma to auditory canal may cause blood mixed with ear wax may give brownish red colour. Ear ache may be due to middle ear infection or due to allergy. Until examination is done it is difficult to say what it is. Get a tympanogram done and consult with your ENT specialist, he will examine and treat you accordingly.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
