What Causes Blood In Urine And Stomach Pain During Early Pregnancy?
sir 12 days have passed on menstrual cycle of my wife. when we did beta hcg test we come to know that is pregnant. now she feels pain in stomach and back and also 1 or 2 drops of blood appears in her urine every time ?? will u plzz let me know the reason of blood in urine
Hello and welcome to HCM, It is important to be sure whether the blood is in urine or from the vagina. Since, your wife is in early pregnancy, missed abortion or threatened abortion are two conditions which can cause bleeding as well as lower abdominal or pelvic pain. Thus, I suggest you to consult your gynecologist for clinical assessment and ultrasound of pelvis to assess the status of gestational sac. In addition, urine examination can also be done- routine and microscopic examination. There are many causes of blood in urine most common one being injury to the urinary tract, kidney disease etc. However, consultation with a gynecologist is required at this point of time.
Thanks and take care Dr Shailja Puri
