What Causes Blood In Urine?

i had blood in my urine two days ago, I went to the hospital they did a urine test and before knowing the results put me on an antibiotic (Keflex)...told me I had a uti & sent me home. within two hours of taking the medication there was no more blood in my urine...I never had any pain urinating either...however I do have a very very dull pain in my back (like where my kidneys are). my tests results just came back and the urine test says I have no growth over two days...so what could I have?...

I have gone through your question. I can understand your concern.
You have blood in urine. You should go for ultrasound kidney, ureter and bladder( KUB) study. You may have mass in kidney or bladder or you may have some stone. Ultrasound study will give you exact diagnosis. THen you should take treatment accordingly.
