What Causes Blood To Come Out Of Navel?
I am scheduled to have my gallbladder removed next week due to gallstones. I recently have had what I think was a GI bug, I felt better the last couple of days and now my upper right stomach is hurting and I noticed today that I have blood coming from my belly button. Is this something that I should notify my surgeon's office about, or just wait it out until the surgery next week?

Yes, you should definitely tell your surgeon about this. Blood from anywhere in the body is not a usual thing. Do it as early as possible.
