What Causes Blood Vomit After Having A Stomach Lining Surgery?
My wife after a night of drinking has been in bed all day. She has been vomiting during the day but has only realised she has traces of blood in her vomit.she also has had her stomach lining removed a little over two days ago. do we need to be concerned?

I understand your concern.
Any procedure concerning stomach lining needs to be cared for in following week Spicy , hot food & alcohol should be avoided during these days.
Your wife has taken alcohol.. which irritates gastric mucosa ( lining).. this has lead to vomiting & blood in vomit.
She can try with sips of ice cold milk.. if this does not control her symptoms take her to ER for fluid replacement & care of the gastric lining
