What Causes Blurred Vision After A Head Injury?
My 13 yr old son came home from a football game with friends and was shoved into the bleachers which has caused a bump and broke the skin behind his right ear. It did not bleed much, but he has pain (7 on a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the worst). It is in his hair line at the base of his skull but it is raised some and he does have a cut. When it happended he had blurred vision for 2-3 minutes he said but does not have that now. It hurts upward on that side of his head. I gave him 2 Advil for the pain in hopes he can get to sleep (10:15 pm) What do I need to do? Do we need to go to the emergency room ?

transient blurred vision may occur after head injury.
the most warning sign after head injury are nausea ,vimiting,diziness,convulsion,diziness,contant pain. ,swelling etc
if anyone of are not developed, there is quite possibility of that head injury has not disturbed much more or may have simple hairline fracture not deep leisions.
