What Causes Blurred Vision After Removing Contact Lens?
This morning I put in my contacts as usual. Felt a poking sensation in one eye but I didn t pay any attention to it since it usually goes away after time. However, the poking didn t go away. My eye felt really uncomfortable and I started to tear after attempting to rub out the pain. I removed the contact lens from the eye and the poking feeling is gone but my vision in that eye is so much more blurrier than usual and it s affecting my overall eyesight. The other eye is fine with and without contacts.
Hello It seems from the history that you are having burning sensation, watering and blurring of vision following use of contact lenses. This indicates contact lens related problem. Contact lens related infection of the cornea needs to be ruled out. The first thing to be done is to stop wearing of lenses and to start using antibiotic eye drops. Since you are having blurred vision I advice you to consult your ophthalmologist for examination and treatment accordingly.
Thank you
