What Causes Blurry Vision, Light Sensitivity And Tingling Sensation Around The Eye Socket?

I m a 48 yr old white male 5 10 201 lbs and I take prescriptions for high blood pressure and cholesterol, both of which are very much in check. I had something happen to me this afternoon, which I ve never had happen before. I saw an arc of light and blurryness out of my left eye. I drank some water and went for a short walk, and it seems to have improved yet the eye seems very sensitive to light. I now have some tingling around my eye socket. My intention is to see an eye dr next week, I don t wear glasses, but not sure if I should be worried that s it s potentially something more serious.
