Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
What Causes Blurry Vision, Radiating Pain In Neck, Right Arm And Back?
I have a lesion on the scalp of my head on the back right side. I am having some additional weird symptoms that I am not sure are related? Currently, a dermatologist has told me it is a pyogenic granuloma. My additional symptoms are blurry vision, neck pain that radiates down my right arm and right back, and yesterday I had a strong flash of pain (20 mins duration) in which I could not move my right arm. Can those symptoms be related or probably separate (like a pinched nerve in my neck and benign growth)?
* A pyoderma granulosum is most commonly seen among diabetic persons and the blurry vision with radiating pain must be co-related with underlying issues of the metabolic panel as well.
* I would like you to discuss the need of fasting blood sugar and HBA1c report with your doc when you visit for the next scheduled appointment.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
Dr Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
