Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I experienced extreme coldness last night I bundled up then became extremely got and sweaty and felt like passing out. This went on until about 6am. I had the gastric sleeve done back in November. Could this be the start of gallblAdder issues of was it a virus?
Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.
I suppose you were informed what to eat in order to prevent any problems to occur when you had gastric sleeve surgery. You should have had your temperature measured for me to know whether any infection present or not. Can't exclude even viral infection. High body temperature gives hypotension which can lead to an episode of passing out. However, measure your body temperature often and if temperature persist and symptoms get worsen, contact your family doctor. You may use Ibuprofen to lower high body temperature, use liquids and light diet.
All the best.
