What Causes Body Tremors After Taking Zolpidem Tartrate?
My Mom takes blood pressure pils diabetic pill and pill for dimentia we gave her zolpidem tartrate and she started shecking and acting not normal Is there some inter action she is 82 The other day we gave her regular brand Ambien and she fell a sleep fine
Zolpidem does not body tremor. Your mother is a diabetic and she must be taking anti-diabetic drugs. Tremor might be due to low blood sugar which may be due to anti-diabetic drugs. There is no significant drug interaction between anti-diabetic drugs and zolpidem. You have not written details of concomitant medications which she has been taking. I would have suggested in details if you would have provided details. you can write later on. As of now, consult your doctor for review of treatment and get done blood sugar (fasting & postprandial). She can take Ambien (zolpidem) as suggested by your doctor. Whenever she feels body shaking, take her to hospital and give glucose orally. Sometimes, very low blood sugar can cause coma.
I hope this information will help you. I will be happy if you ask another question Thanks
