What Causes Body Tremors And Chills After Taking Nitrofurantoin And Tramadol For UTI?
My mom went to dr today with a urinary tract infection..he prescribed tramadol hcl for pain..this could also have been prescribed for arthritic pain..but also prescribed nitrofurantoin mono for the infection. She took meds at 2 pm but now has shaking and chills. Could this be a reaction to the medication?

shaking and chills your mother is experiencing is probably due to the side effect of nitrofurantoin because of its bactericidal nature .
