What Causes Body Weakness In Elderly Upon Waking Up?
iam 58 years old and having high blood pressure and no sugar but at the time of awake in the moring feeling very weakness in my body and having weakness in sexual activities i am taking four tablets tenormin, zocor baby aspirin and norvasc amlodipine besylate pls advise me your opinion regarding another medicine for getting strenght in my body like thirtees and fourtees of ages.
I am sorry to hear that you are feeling weak and having sexual problems. When looking over your medications I notice you are taking Tenormin which is a beta blocker and this medication can frequently cause marked fatigue and sexual dysfunction. In my practice when I have patient complaining of these symptoms on Tenormin I consider changing the medication. I recommend that you seek advice from your medical doctor and have him stop the Tenormin. I would not recommend you stop the Tenormin on your own as it may cause an increase in your blood pressure.
