What Causes Breast Pain With Breast Implants Inserts?

Yes. Received saline breast implants about 26 years ago.. Have been noticing some discomfort (pain) in left breast. Pain is not continuous. Some days, do not feel discomfort. Cannot feel any hard lumps. Do feel fibrocystic nodules which have been present for 50 years. Have noticed that some ways I raise or lower arm can cause a bit of pain which disappears immediately. Have not noticed any dimpling, secretion from nipple, inversion of nipple, dimpling of skin, or reduction in size of breast. No history of breast cancer, but I am scared to death this may be related to breast cancer and not the implant. Also, have felt some intermittent pain in right breast, but hardly noticeable.

Hello,

Pain in the left breast area needs further w=evaluation to rule out breast and cardiac pathologies. Thorough physical examination, mammogram, and ECG are required at this point. So please follow up with your primary provider.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
