What Causes Breathlessness And Itchy Scalp While Having High BP?

Hi my partner is almost 50 & drinks quite heavily and has been smoking since age of 15. He also has had high blood pressure most of his life but doesn t take any medication. After a 3 course meal and wine last night he had shortness of breath, itchy scalp and feet and face and neck went blotchy red. Any idea what this could be?

Hello There

After going through your medical query I understand your concern and I would like to tell you that most likely he had an allergic reaction with the food which is why he had rashes with breathlessness , kindly take him to ER for immediate care.

Hopefully this information will guide you properly

Kind Regards
Dr Bhanu Partap
