What Causes Breathlessness And The Urge To Urinate While Under Stress?
I am a non small cell lung cancer survivor......(10 years) This past year my good lung started pleural effusions due to inflammation. which was taken care of by pleuradieces (sp) procedure 8 months ago... I only have the use of 1 and a third lung at this time....due to radiation 10 years ago. Here is my problem... When I get stressed I will start to hyperventilate and experience shortness of breath and will get a strong urge to urinate... Which causes me more stress... Is this unusual? and do I need to talk to my Doctor about it..
Stress may lead to adrenal release which may cause increased blood pressure which may stimulate left atrium and ventricles lead to a release of atrial natriuretic peptide which may lead to urine passage.
Also, possible causes are decreased functioning part of lung lead to hypoxia lead to breathlessness.
Avoid panic attacks, practice yoga and meditation regularly.
Check for urine examination and blood sugar levels.
If symptoms not improved please consult your doctor he will examine and treat you accordingly.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
