What Causes Bright Yellow Urine With Foul Smell?

yesterday i went to my gp with the symtems of gout,ie painful left toe and swelling.although today im more or less pain free and can walk easily again. this morning however when i first went to the toilet my urine was a very strong yellowish colour and smelt quite foul, is this related in any way to having gout?

Hi, dear
I have gone through your question. I can understand your concern.

You have gout with foul smelling urine. It is not due to your gout. It may be due to urinary tract infection or some drugs. You should go for urine routine and microscopic examination. It will give you exact idea. Then you should take treatment accordingly.

For gout you can rake drugs like allopurinol. Take low protein diet.
