What Causes Broken Blood Vessel On Uvula When Suffering From Sinusitis?

I've been on and off sick for the last few weeks with my sinuses and allergies. Recently I've been coughing a lot and trying to get some of the gunk up from my lungs. Yesterday I noticed my uvula looks like there is blood on the very bottom of it almost like a burst blood vessel inside?

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of broken blood vessel on uvula when suffering from sinusitis which means you are suffering from condition known as chronic sinusitis and it could be due to uvulitis.

Need not to worry. I would suggest you to take take few preventive measures such as maintain complete oral hygiene. Avoid sharp and spicy food and take soft and fibrous diet. You should take antihistamines and antibiotic combination as infection is present. Co amoxiclav is best treatment option. Visit ENT specialist once and get it examined. Go for paranasal sinus X ray and start treatment after complete examination.
