Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I ve been feeling sick for the past day or 2 Like diarrhoea but when I go to the toilet only very small poop comes out.It s light brown with mucus around it, but also noticed red raw meat like bits through out it.Every time I go to the toilet and it feels like diarrhoea but my stomach makes the movements that it would when I d throw up.Please help!
As per your explanation, it seems that you may have gastroenteritis. In this, the stomach is irritated and leads to diarrhea, abdominal pain, weakness, mild fever, chills and many more. I would recommend some more tests to do. The tests are: 1. Stool culture 2. Stool Test
For now, you may start a course of Doxycycline (antibiotic) for 10 days. Others guidelines to follow: 1. Stay hydrated as there can be some bacterial and viral infection which can eventually make you dehydrated 2. Feed on easy, simple and non-spicy diet to avoid complications. 3. Do not go for complex protein like meat and avoid red meat for now.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Dipan Samanta, General & Family Physician
